Adobe has unveiled a new artificial intelligence-powered model for video creation, aiming to compete with OpenAI’s DALL·E and Meta’s Make-A-Video generators. The model, named Firefly, allows users to generate videos based on text prompts, according to a report by Reuters.
Although Adobe had previously introduced several AI generative models for images, it lagged in the video sector. The newly launched Firefly model is integrated into various Adobe products, including Photoshop, Express, Illustrator, and Substance 3D.
Speculation about the launch of Firefly’s video model had been circulating since the beginning of the year. It is now available as a public beta on Adobe’s website.
